This piece reflects on how authority often masks control as care. Receipts represent systems that quietly monitor and record, while hand-stamped letters echo the repetitive messaging we’re taught to accept without question. What appears childlike speaks to the confusion of being told you're safe, while slowly realizing safety was never the point.
