Deep in the Heart

The intention behind this scarf is to raise awareness for Kerr County, a region in southern Texas that was devastated by catastrophic flooding in July 2025. During the disaster, the Guadalupe River rose rapidly, causing widespread destruction and tragic loss of life.

This scarf was created in collaboration with two Fort Worth businesses, P.S. The Letter and Wild Silks, with all proceeds donated to support Kerr County. I’m grateful to have contributed my illustration work to such a meaningful project.

Exclusively available at P.S. The Letter, the design celebrates the beauty and resilience of Texas. It features iconic state imagery, bluebonnets, monarch butterflies, and native trees, alongside thoughtful details honoring Kerr County. As Texans, we stand together, especially in times of hardship.
